Wilson State Park

Wilson State Park is in Harrison, Michigan. It is an older park and not really laid out for todays larger RVs. Some of the sites are small and some of the turns are tight. The entire park seems somewhat small. Traffic noise can be heard quite easily.
We had a bird that made a nest out of a hole in the tree on our site. In the tree were 3 small chicks.
This was Memorial Day weekend and the town was hosting a car show. The cars were allowed to burn their tires up and down the main drag through town.

Last Warranty Trip to Dealer

Today we took our RV into the dealer for some last minute repairs. The warranty is almost up and we wanted to address a few items. The TV antenna jack was loose, the electrical cord was coming apart, the slide out was making noise, a blind was binding and we had noticed water stains on the valance due to the window problems we had in the past. Hope to get it back soon; we have a trip planned in a couple of weeks.

Valley Plaza RV Resort

This weekend we went to Valley Plaza RV Resort for another reason besides to camp. Our son’s prom was being held at the conference center located there. He and his friends had hired a limo (with a little help us) to take them to the prom. The limo was an SUV and was very nice. There would be several hours of idle time while they were at the prom before they needed it for the return trip. This is when we jumped in and took a little ride. We went and picked up a few friends, had a couple of cocktails and had it back before it was ever missed.
