This is a city park secluded among the trees along the Cedar River. There are two sections to this park, the upper and the lower section. The sites in the upper section are more secluded than the lower sites. A few pull thru’s are available. You can rent the pavilion for reunions, etc. There is a playground, sandy beach area along the river, and basketball courts. The bathrooms have clean showers. The sites include electric, water, picnic tables and a fire ring.

This is a city park located on a river in the city of Clare, Michigan. It is a small park with only 16 sites. There is a fishing pier and a playground. The park provides electric hook up and fire ring. There is a sanitation station with fresh water and sewer dumping facilities available. More people use the sanitation station than stay at the park.

We took the new truck in to have the hood liner replaced. Found out that a mouse had made the old one his home before we bought the truck. The dealer was quite good about the whole job.

This was not a camping trip but, I have to make mention of the trip to our favorite festival. It is the Pig Gig in Bay City , Michigan. The Pig Gig is a championship BBQ Rib cook-off competition. We try to attend this event every year. This year our favorite BBQ ribs were from Aussom Aussie.
